Isla Bella Beach Resort welcomes couples married at first sight for their honeymoon. This corner of paradise helps make or break these newlyweds.
For the bride and groom of Married at first sight, jumping into romance might not be the easiest thing to do at first. Isla Bella Beach Resort, the honeymoon destination for Season 13 couples, not only helps to accommodate these newlyweds, but also to make their stay as comfortable as possible. While that turns out to have a kind of magic for some couples, others have looked beyond romance and hoped for a divorce. Yet overall, this slice of heaven makes a visit tempting for viewers of the show.
Located off the tip of Marathon Island in Florida, Isla Bella is a perfect getaway destination. Surrounded by the blue waters of the Caribbean, this resort is a private destination where guests travel via the Overseas Highway to a tropical oasis. It’s a part of the Florida Keys and it’s a reimagined approach to southern vacations. The massive grounds are made up of exquisite white architecture. The resort is home to five pools, including one that’s 4,500 square feet. Guests are also welcomed to a mile of white-sand oceanfront beaches.
The resort offers a variety of dining options, including a traditional Neapolitan-style Italian restaurant called IL Postino (via Isla Bella Beach Resort). It’s only open for breakfast and dinner, making it the perfect choice for a date. They offer classic Alfredo and Pomodoro dishes with a list of specialty cocktails. For those who prefer to spend time by the pool from dusk till dawn, the Beach Bar offers a variety of options, including fresh sushi. Guests also have the option of staying in their room and receiving premium room service. Suffice it to say that the couples on MAFS were treated like royalty during their stay.
There’s nothing that says vacation and paradise more than a spa. Covering 4,000 square feet, the luxury spa at Isla Bella offers a variety of treatments for all guests. The spa offers nails, waxing, skincare, and a variety of massages, including deep tissue, hot, Swedish, and therapeutic stones, and more. For those who want to go the skin treatment route, a Golden, Fire and Ice, and Fountain of Youth facial are just a few of the options the spa has to offer.
Outside of relaxing by the pool, ordering drinks, or visiting the spa, Isla Bella offers a variety of other experiences. MAFS couples could enjoy daily yoga on the beach, biking, and bocce ball. A weekly activity calendar is provided to all who stay to ensure there is never a dull moment. Although Myrla claimed the resort resembled a retirement community, the luxury offerings suggest she’s probably less accurate in her description of her honeymoon destination.
Married at first sight airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
